How can I be more insightful than Chris M. & Cindy F.?  No advice from me since I don't even know how to ride a bike and you are already an accomplished swimmer.  I do know Hawaii well, and feel qualified to suggest you have a fantastic time and practice your surfing once you recover from the race!  Best of luck, and have fun!!
